Gateway features:
- Accessibility and ease of management – The gateway utilizes a robust, secure web based (utilizing SSL) Graphical User Interface (GUI), for system and email configuration accessible anywhere from any web browser:
- Basic configuration module allows the administrator to configure the out of the box default setting and have the gateway up and running in less then 2 minutes.
- Advanced configuration modules allows for system administration and tools, enabling to fine tune the gateway while providing monitoring and administration capabilities (including system status view and selective electronic system notifications).
- Mail Server – No changes configuration changes required for your existing mail server. Simply assign the gateway as the default gateway for mail delivery.
- Security – Both gateway and email security are addressed though a manageable firewall user interface and email security management features:
- Firewall module – A GUI interface that enables the administrator the ability to control accessibility to the gateway.
- System user / group administration – Allows the administrator to delegate responsibilities to users / groups.
- Email Security – Gateway protection from a variety of email attacks allowing the administrator to select particular thresholds for possible vulnerabilities.
- Performance & Reliability – The gateway is optimized for maximum performance & reliability using the Linux (Red Hat Fedora Core) operating system and the Postfix email platform (see data sheet for more information).
- Performance – The gateway is capable of handing over 2.5 Million emails / day (depending on the exact scanner configuration).
- Reliability – The gateway has been tested extensively for software and hardware reliability and carries a 3 year manufacturer hardware warranty.
Message Processing Platform (MPP) features:
- Multi Engine Control Module - MECM empowers you to deploy single or multiple virus, spam and content filtering engines. MECM current support Sophos, Pattern Authority, ClamAV and SpamAssassin.
- Email Vrus Control - MPP / gBrick smb enables fast and robust virus protection.
- AntiSpam Control - Combine PA and/or SpamAssassin with our integrated spam features such as malformed message checks, black lists, inbound and outbound white lists, per user and per domain spam quarantine and more.
- Web based Management Module - The MPP goes beyond simple configuration control with our Webmin module. Monitor logs, update virus signatures, manage quarantine, and configure all features.
- LE version – The LE offers maximum performance and value - it provides the fastest interface of ClamAV combined with SpamAssassin Daemon Support. Combine our high performance, and is the most complete solution for deploying ClamAV and SpamAssassin on your email server.
- Per user or Per domain Spam Quarantine – Single click allows you to save Cybersoft identified spam in per user, per domain or per email address specified locations.
- Smart Content Filter - Pattern Authority, by Cybersoft, allows you to filter all profane and harassing email with a single command, smart_content_filter. Linguists keep porn and harassing libraries current.
- Non-stop email during configuration changes - Reload configurations and virus definitions without interrupting email flow & perform a graceful shutdown option.
- Extensive Logging & Monitoring - 6 levels of logging & excellent for troubleshooting and monitoring.
- Selective Scanning – Easily select the domains or users you wish to scan
- Customized Warnings - Warn sender, receiver, admin or any combination with your own custom warning messages.
